🚂 By Train
Welcome to Corniglia! The train is the most convenient and recommended way to reach us. Corniglia is located on the Genoa-Rome railway line.
How to get here:
- If you are traveling on long-distance trains, the best station for a connection is La Spezia Centrale.
- From there, you can take the local trains (Cinque Terre Express) which serve the villages approximately every 45 minutes. During peak season (April – October), trains are even more frequent.
- The journey between villages takes only about 5 minutes on average.
From the station to the village center: The station is located at sea level. To reach the village center (Piazza CiapĂ ), you can choose between:
- Shuttle Bus: The Park’s shuttle buses run throughout the day until 8:00 PM. If you have the Cinque Terre Card, the fare is included; otherwise, you can purchase a ticket at the Info Point in the station.
- On Foot: A scenic walk of about 1 km. You can choose the famous Lardarina staircase (382 steps – not recommended if you have heavy luggage!) or the convenient carriage road (Via alla Stazione), which has no steps and is very easy to walk.
